A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked. "Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you - but first, let me do this."
He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked. "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "what if I do this?" He dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
From this story, we can see that no matter what the $20 bill went through, its value still remail at $20. And that is how our Heavenly Father look at us. Not matter what we did, how far we have gone away from Him, what sins have we committed, He still see us the way we were first created, in His Image. "For you were made in my image" Genesis 1:27. In Psalm 139:14, the Lord said that He created us fearfully and wonderfully. So do not let the lies of the evil one draw you away from the Lord. The Lord loves you no matter what condition you are in. You are His treasured possession. "For you are my treasured possession" Exodus 19:5
Psalm 139:13-16
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for accepting me the way I am. Lord you see me the way I am yet you love me. Father continue to show me your love and how you value me so that I may learn to love as you have love me. Lord cover me with the Blood of the Lamb and protect me from the lies of the evil one. Lord I know you treasure me and I thank you for your love. I bless you Lord. In Jesus most precious name I pray.
Amen.
